Bio

Welcome to Nightingale Piano Studio, where Passion Meets Excellence!

With 15+ years of experience, Emily Huang is an Associate member of the Queensland Music Teacher Association and the director of Nightingale Piano Studio. She is currently offering private 1-on-1 piano lessons to students aged 4yrs+ from a fully fitted studio or online via Zoom*, with a focus in teaching beginners, examination candidates/transfer students, QCE Music (Performance) exam preparation and adult learners.

Nightingale Pianoforte Studio is fully versed on the curriculums of the majority of major examination boards (AMEB/ABRSM/Trinity etc.) Students consistently achieve highly commendable results on their exams through their hard work under her tutelage.

Teaching Info

Lessons are tailored to the needs and goals of each unique student. Whether it be a young beginner, adult/casual learner, neuro-diverse individual or examination candidate, every student will find a place at Nightingale Pianoforte. The philosophy behind her pedagogy is consistency, tenacity and nurturing the student’s love for music.  The studio is open to anyone with a passion for music and a desire to learn.

Nightingale Pianoforte is based upon the classical method, with changes made to suit the needs of each individual student’s needs. Materials required varied between the level, progression and approach of each student, but generally a note taking book, method book (for beginners) and technical book as well as any relevant repertoire is expected of each student.
