Bio
Scout Jordan is an interdisciplinary music practitioner and educator, with over 10 years of professional experience. They have taught both independently and at music schools around Brisbane and Melbourne, specialising in drums, guitar, keys/piano, vocals and music production.
As an artist, they have composed, produced and performed with innumerable acts (more than they can remember) across a wide range of genres, with a recent emphasis on rap music and progressive rock.
As an educator, they prioritise a non-hierarchical facilitative approach, adapting their teaching style to the individual students’ needs. This psychology-based method is specifically designed to make music a stress-free environment, and to encourage creativity and a love of learning.
They can read musical notation reasonably well.
