Friendly, qualified and experienced piano teacher with a decade of music teaching experience.
No prior musical knowledge is necessary – beginner friendly for students of all ages and levels.
Lessons are tailored to suit your musical needs and encourage a flexible, supportive learning environment where we can work together to achieve your musical goals.
Whether learning as a hobby or working towards AMEB exams, lessons are comprehensive covering topics such as healthy playing techniques, reading notation, aural training, sight reading, technical work, and music theory. My goal is to provide you with a well-rounded musical toolkit that you can apply to your future endeavours (and to encourage enjoyment and collaboration!). Students are thoroughly prepared prior to being sent in for exams and student results at AMEB exams have mainly consisted of High Distinctions and Honours.
The first lesson is offered as a free trial (usually up to half an hour) where we can get to know a bit about each other and your goals for learning piano. Lessons are available as 30, 45 or 60 minute slots and are held in my home studio in Eight Mile Plains.
